  • Research, develop, and teach instruction sessions on a variety of topics in the humanities. To date: 150+ sessions in art, art history, classics, education, English, history, general humanities, information science, religious studies, textile and apparel management, and theatre.
  • Provide reference and information services for all print, manuscript and microform collections.
  • Lead in designing, developing and maintaining the departmental website and digital initiatives, including managing digital exhibitions, digital humanities projects, and social media outreach.
  • Work collaboratively with library staff to develop outreach events such as orientations, workshops, and presentations for school and community groups.
  • Curate exhibitions to highlight materials from various collections, and serve as the department’s primary liaison and coordinator with area museums to plan and implement cooperative exhibition and programming opportunities.

  • Processed 9.2 linear feet of professional papers and over 20,000 photographic materials from the Walter Eugene George Collection and updated the finding aid for the collection in EAD.
  • Constructed and curated a digital exhibit of photographic materials in the Drupal content management system.
